Such a simple yet elegant treat!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package strawberries (1 pound or 450 grams)
  • 1 package semi sweet chocolate chips (300 grams)

 

Directions:

  1. Gently rinse strawberries and let dry on paper towel.

 

  1. Fill a medium saucepan ⅓ to ½ full with water and place on low to medium heat.

 

  1. Place a stainless steel (or other heatproof) bowl on top of the saucepan, ensuring that it is not touching the water. Add the chocolate into the bowl and let melt, stirring periodically.

 

  1. Dip the dry strawberry into the melted chocolate to evenly coat.

 

  1. Place the chocolate covered strawberry on a tray lined with parchment paper.

 

  1. Place in the refrigerator until the chocolate has hardened, about 30 minutes.
