Fresh “ginger puree” really kicks up the flavour in any dish.  I often add ginger and/or turmeric to meals when anyone in my household is sick with a sore throat, cold or flu…so many healing properties and health benefits!

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup peeled, chopped ginger
  • 2 tbsp water

 

Directions:

  1. Place the peeled, chopped ginger and water into a blender and puree.

 

  1. Store the ginger puree in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks and use in your recipes as needed.
