A family secret to many of our Indian recipes is to use fresh “green chili puree”.  It adds flavour and spice evenly to meals so that you don’t just bite into random chili pieces!

Ingredients:

  • ¼ chopped green chilies (stem and top discarded)
  • 2 tbsp water

 

Directions:

  1. Place the chopped green chilies and water into a blender and puree.

 

  1. Store the green chili puree in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days and use in your recipes as needed.
