Growing up, my parents owned fast food restaurants. My homemade hamburger is far better – sorry Dad!
Yield: 4 hamburgers
Ingredients:
For the patties:
- 700 grams lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp freshly pureed garlic
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup bread crumbs
For the hamburger:
- 4 hamburger buns
- Cheese (optional)
- Desired toppings
Directions:
- Preheat the barbeque to high heat.
- In a large bowl, place all ingredients to prepare the hamburger patties. Using your hands, combine all ingredients well.
- Take one cup of the mixture and form a patty with your hands. Place the patty on a tray and repeat to create four patties.
- Grill the patties on each side to cook.
