These bited size treats are light, fluffy and sweet!
Yield: 40 to 50 mini donuts
Ingredients:
Step 1: The Batter:
- ⅓ cup salted butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ cup all purpose flour
Step 2: The Coating:
- ¼ cup salted butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Step 1: The Batter
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar with a handheld electric mixer.
- Add the egg and mix.
- Add the milk and vanilla and mix.
- Add the baking power and mix.
- Add the flour and mix.
- Place a batch of batter into a piping bag with a large round tip.
- Pipe the batter into a greased mini donut pan.
- Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Remove the mini donuts from the pan and let cool.
Step 2: The Coating:
- In a small saucepan, melt butter.
- In a bowl, add sugar and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
- Dip the cooled mini donuts one at a time into the melted butter and then roll into the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
