These bited size treats are light, fluffy and sweet!

Yield:  40 to 50 mini donuts

Ingredients:

Step 1:  The Batter:

  • ⅓ cup salted butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ cup all purpose flour

Step 2:  The Coating:

  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

 

Directions:

Step 1:  The Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

 

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar with a handheld electric mixer.

 

  1. Add the egg and mix.

 

  1. Add the milk and vanilla and mix.

 

  1. Add the baking power and mix.

 

  1. Add the flour and mix.

 

  1. Place a batch of batter into a piping bag with a large round tip.

 

  1. Pipe the batter into a greased mini donut pan.

 

  1. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

 

  1. Remove the mini donuts from the pan and let cool.

 

Step 2:  The Coating:

  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter.

 

  1. In a bowl, add sugar and cinnamon. Stir to combine.

 

  1. Dip the cooled mini donuts one at a time into the melted butter and then roll into the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
