I had never eaten “peaches and cream” until I lived in Dallas and after tasting the juicy flavour burst I was hooked! There are so many variations but this is my quick and easy recipe.
Ingredients:
- 2 peaches
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 to 3 tsp brown sugar
- Vanilla ice cream
Directions:
- Peel the peaches if desired and cut the peaches into bite size pieces.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the peach pieces and brown sugar and stir to combine.
- Continue to cook for a few minutes until the peaches have softened. Do not overcook the peaches or they will be too soft.
- Serve the peaches warm with vanilla ice cream.
