I had never eaten “peaches and cream” until I lived in Dallas and after tasting the juicy flavour burst I was hooked!  There are so many variations but this is my quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 peaches
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 to 3 tsp brown sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream

 

Directions:

  1. Peel the peaches if desired and cut the peaches into bite size pieces.

 

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

 

  1. Add the peach pieces and brown sugar and stir to combine.

 

  1. Continue to cook for a few minutes until the peaches have softened. Do not overcook the peaches or they will be too soft.

 

  1. Serve the peaches warm with vanilla ice cream.
