Pita bread usually has a short lifespan. As I hate wasting food, I turned pita bread into pita crisps! It’s great to snack on or even to serve with drinks.
Ingredients:
- Pita bread
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Rosemary or Italian seasoning or desired spice
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut pita bread into thin strips or triangles.
- Brush the pita bread with olive oil.
- Sprinkle rosemary and salt or Italian seasoning or any desired spice onto the pita bread.
- Place a single layer of pita bread pieces on a baking sheet.
- Bake for about 3 to 5 minutes, until crisp and golden brown.
