Pita bread usually has a short lifespan.  As I hate wasting food, I turned pita bread into pita crisps!  It’s great to snack on or even to serve with drinks.

Ingredients:

  • Pita bread
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Rosemary or Italian seasoning or desired spice

 

Directions:   

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

 

  1. Cut pita bread into thin strips or triangles.

 

  1. Brush the pita bread with olive oil.

 

  1. Sprinkle rosemary and salt or Italian seasoning or any desired spice onto the pita bread.

 

  1. Place a single layer of pita bread pieces on a baking sheet.

 

  1. Bake for about 3 to 5 minutes, until crisp and golden brown.
