This classic cookie never gets old!
Yield: 8 cookies
Ingredients:
- ½ cup salted butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
Directions:
- Heat oven to 325°F.
- In a mixing bowl, add softened butter and smooth out using an electric hand mixer.
- Add sugar and continue to combine with an electric mixer.
- Add flour and continue to combine with an electric mixer.
- Use your hands to ensure all ingredients are combined.
- In a greased 7 inch round pan, press the dough and ensure that it is flat and even. Use a glass or other smooth surfaced object to even out the dough.
- Make fork pricks for decorative purpose if desired.
- Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
- Once out of the oven, let cool for a few minutes before cutting into triangles and sprinkling with sugar.
