This classic cookie never gets old!

Yield:  8 cookies

Ingredients:

  • ½  cup salted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

 

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 325°F.

 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add softened butter and smooth out using an electric hand mixer.

 

  1. Add sugar and continue to combine with an electric mixer.

 

  1. Add flour and continue to combine with an electric mixer.

 

  1. Use your hands to ensure all ingredients are combined.

 

  1. In a greased 7 inch round pan, press the dough and ensure that it is flat and even. Use a glass or other smooth surfaced object to even out the dough.

 

  1. Make fork pricks for decorative purpose if desired.

 

  1. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

 

  1. Once out of the oven, let cool for a few minutes before cutting into triangles and sprinkling with sugar.
