Although I have used Toblerone chocolate for this recipe, you can use almost any chopped up chocolate bar or smashed candy-coated chocolate such as M&M’s and it will be a hit!
Ingredients:
- 3 packages cream cheese (8 oz or 250 mg each)
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- ⅓ cup Dulce de Leche*
- 1 Toblerone chocolate bar (150 grams)
- Oreo crust
*If you cannot buy or make Dulce de Leche, use caramel syrup
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the Oreo crust.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed to smooth it out.
- Add sugar and vanilla to the bowl and continue to beat on medium speed.
- Add the eggs and beat on medium speed until smooth and blended together.
- Pour the mixture over the crust and bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Once cooled, spread Dulce de Leche evenly on top of the cheesecake.
- Chop up the Toblerone chocolate bar and sprinkle on top of the Dulce de Leche.
