Aiming for an easy but hearty and delicious meal? Meatloaf is the answer! I usually serve meatloaf with a side of mashed potatoes, veggies such as green beans or carrots and a salad.
Ingredients:
- 450 grams lean ground beef
- ½ cup diced onion (1 small onion)
- ½ cup diced celery (2 celery stalks)
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp garlic puree
- 1 egg
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ¼ cup freshly chopped cilantro
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°
- In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Lightly coat a 5” x 9” non-stick loaf pan with canola oil spray.
- Spread the ground beef evenly into the loaf pan.
- Place the loaf pan in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until cooked.
