A hearty, simple and delicious one-pot dinner that will be ready in minutes. Spice it up with hot sauce, freshly chopped chilies or extra chili powder. It’s called “chili” for a reason!
Fun Fact: In 1977 “chili con carne” was recognized by the Texas legislature as the official dish of the state of Texas.

- Once the vegetables have softened and the liquid has dried up, add the tomato sauce and stir to combine.
- Add salt to taste if necessary.
- Add the kidney beans and stir to combine.
- Cover and let the tomato sauce bubble for 5 minutes, stirring periodically to enable the flavours to come together.
- Serve in a large bowl or individual bowls. Top with grated cheddar cheese, chopped green onion and freshly chopped coriander.
